Professor (Assistant) in the discipline of social communication and media science. Employed at the Institute of Information and Communication Research at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Interested in digital public services, social media, social media marketing, scientific communication and disinformation. Co-creator of many e-learning courses, e.g. 'Bibweb’ (implemented by the Bertelsmann Foundation, the University Library in Warsaw, the Electronic Publishing Commission of the SBP EBIB and the Institute of Science and Research of the Nicolaus Copernicus University) and 'Login: the library’ (implemented for the purposes of the Library Development Program, with the participation of the Information Society Development Foundation, the Polish-American Freedom Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation). Author of many scientific works, including a monograph entitled ’Smart city in the information space’ dedicated to smart solutions implemented in smart cities in Poland and abroad. In addition to scientific and didactic activities, he conducts training in the field of creating an image on the Internet and the use of social media in the information sector.
